Control Systems Engineer Yorkshire Good Salary We are currently seeking experienced Automation Engineers to manage digital manufacturing and automation projects.
Applicants with Siemens, Rockwell, and AVEVA (Wonderware) experience This is a full-time staff position based in our office, with an excellent salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities/ Duties Working with a team of digital manufacturing/automation engineers delivering projects to customer sites.
Developing engineering design documents, technical evaluations, and test plans.
Providing design and approval for hardware, software, and controls for automated and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
Working closely with customers to identify areas for improvement through the use of automation and data analytics technology.
Providing technical and automation operational support to Engineering, Manufacturing, Validation and Facilities departments.
Co-ordinating and supporting project commissioning activities.
Mentoring and training of junior engineers.
Researching new technologies and trends in Industrial Automation and liaising with senior management on digital manufacturing/automation business strategy.
Qualifications/ Skills/ Experience Experienced digital manufacturing/automation engineer with 3+ years' experience.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Instrumentation/ Information Systems or related field.
PLC Programming Experience: Allen-Bradley PLCs / Siemens TIA Portal.
HMI / SCADA Experience: Siemens / Rockwell/ AVEVA / Schneider.
Experience with control networks and communications systems (Profibus, Modbus, DeviceNet).
Knowledge of process instrumentation and wiring would be desirable.
Experience working with validated Digital Manufacturing/Automation systems in the Pharmaceutical or Food Beverage manufacturing environment.
