Contracts Analyst

Job Description Staff role with a large engineering services company in the energy sector Possible option for part-time Carrying out contract analysis as well as reviews of general terms and conditions for sale and purchase in order to evaluate contractual risk.
Providing feedback to colleagues on the analysis carried out and assist, where required, in negotiating contracts in order to gain more favourable contractual terms for the group.
Attending meetings with customers and suppliers in order to provide contractual guidance.
Liaise and consult with commercial and finance teams for all relevant matters pertaining to the contractual analysis: tax implications, performance bonds / parent company guarantees, insurance matters.
Considering business requirements and proposing a contractual solution with a view to drafting an appropriate contractual document, including but not limited to Framework Agreements, Service Contracts, Supply of Goods Contracts and Representation Agreements Interpreting existing contractual terms in order to advise business of contractual obligations and/or potential exposures.
Assist in the development and revision of standard terms and conditions and contractual procedures.
