Our Packing team is currently seeking an experienced Packer to join us.
You will be responsible for packing products that are exported globally, as well as managing the stock levels of packaging materials.
Additionally, you may be required to provide support to other areas within our Materials Handling department.
This is a permanent role working day shifts from 08:00 to 16:30 Mon - Thurs and 08:00 to 13:00 on Fri. Key Responsibilities: System Packing: (Key) Ensure OIPT packing standards are maintained to ensure goods arrive undamaged.
Update Team Leader on stock levels of packaging materials in line with predicted requirements.
Load shipments onto vehicles for onward shipment.
Ensure packing is completed in line with the requirements relating to secure cargo.
Process Return to Vendor (RTV) requests.
Health and Safety: (Key) It is the personal responsibility of each employee to ensure their own health and safety, as well as the well-being of others who could be impacted by their actions and conduct.

Manual Handling: (As and when required) Ensure all movements of goods are performed in a safe manner utilising the correct equipment for each job.
Person Specification – Essential requirements unless stated English and Maths to numeracy and literacy.
Computer literacy Demonstrable experience in Packing Clear communicator Some lifting (<25kgs) is involved.
FLT licence preferred Able to work in a team and positively contributes to the team to achieve departmental/company goals.
Shares information and knowledge to improve own and others contribution to the business.
