Job summary We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, flexible andcommitted Consultant Radiologist with a specialist interest in gastrointestinalradiology, general radiology and non-vascular intervention to our cohesive,hard-working and friendly team.
The BHNFT Medical Imaging Teamincludes Consultant Radiologists, radiology specialty doctors, radiologyresidents, consultant mammographers and Advanced Practitioners and provides acomprehensive imaging service.
The trust is rated as good by the CQC withperformance benchmarked well within the top quartile of acute trusts by NHSE.Thesuccessful candidate will also be expected to participate in the generalradiology workflow including audit, quality improvement, MDT, teaching, and thegeneral on-call rota (currently 1 in 8).
Teleradiology cover the acute MRservice from 17:00-20:00 on weekdays and 08:00 20:00 at weekends, and theacute CT service from 20:00 08:30.
All successful candidates will havededicated office space plus shared acute reporting spaces within the maindepartment.
Home workstations will be provided for on-call duties and to allowfor periods of working from home (to be agreed at job plan meetings).
