Consultant Gastroenterologist/Hepatologist

This is a replacement post, which would maintain our current position of having 3 dedicated Hepatologists.
The post holder is expected to have broad experience of Hepatology, Gastroenterology, and endoscopy as the role contributes to the core Gastroenterology elective and emergency service, but with special emphasis on delivering Hepatology services.

The department has an established Hepatology service with close links to our local liver transplant centre (Leeds).
Bradford Gastroenterology service also has expertise in managing Complex IBD, Nutrition, and Hepato-biliary diseases in addition to advanced therapeutic endoscopic services and a bowel cancer screening programme.
The applicant will have the opportunity to further develop a specialist interest alongside our existing team, and we would welcome applicants with an interest in developing the efficiency of the service through, for example, utilising technology.
