Doctors Direct have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to work with us at London's newest Mental Health Partnership Trusts in General Adult Psychiatry
Some of your duties and responsibilities will be:
* To provide senior medical input into the care of patients accessing care in the team including psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and management.
* To act as Responsible Clinician for patients treated under provisions of the Mental Health Act
* To provide leadership and to take responsibility for the delivery of key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Participation in Care Programme Approach (CPA) as appropriate, including patient review, multidisciplinary meetings related to CPA, training and medically relevant clinical documentation.
* A willingness to be flexible in altering the timetable according to service developments.
* Involvement in providing leadership and management to the service, and participation in the clinical governance processes of the service and service line.
Details about the roles:
* Speciality : General Adult Psychiatry
* Grade : Consultant
* Location : Enfield South Locality Team
* Shift patterns : 09:00-17:00, Mon-Fri, on-going (No remote working)
* Rate : £100-£120 per hour
* Training required: S12 & AC *
Consultant must have community experience
* CCT preferable but not essential
* Start date : ASAP – subject to compliance and RTW checks

About you:
* Valid GMC
* Right to work in the UK ( note ; we are unable to provide sponsorship)
* Minimum 6 months NHS experience
* Specialist Registration for Adult Psychiatry preferred but not essential
* PAYE payment only, we do not facilitate payment via umbrella or LTD company
