Key Responsibilities: Support to Waitstaff and Service Team Assist waitstaff by preparing tables, serving food, clearing dishes, and ensuring timely table turnover.
Ensure smooth communication with kitchen staff and runners to coordinate food delivery efficiently.
Support the waitstaff with any additional tasks to enhance the guest experience and maintain Ladurées service standards.
Table Setting and Presentation Set tables with Ladurées branded tableware, glassware, and utensils, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
Maintain table settings, promptly replacing any missing items, refilling water glasses, and keeping tables tidy throughout service.
Assist in setting up and refreshing service stations, ensuring that all utensils, napkins, and other supplies are neatly organized and well-stocked.
Guest Interaction and Service Greet guests warmly as they are seated, offering assistance and responding to any immediate needs.
Attend to guests by offering bread, refilling drinks, and clearing dishes when needed, with professionalism and courtesy.
Observe guests to anticipate service needs, promptly communicating with the main waitstaff or management as necessary.
Cleanliness and Hygiene Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the dining area, including tables, service stations, and floors.
Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene protocols at all times, ensuring that all service areas are clean and sanitary.
Assist with opening and closing duties, which include setting up tables, arranging dining spaces, and preparing the restaurant for service or end-of-day cleanup.
Team Collaboration Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team, including waitstaff, bartenders, and runners, to ensure efficient and organized service.
Support team efforts by being proactive in offering assistance where needed, especially during peak service times.
Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed about menu changes, service standards, and brand expectations.
Qualifications: Previous experience in hospitality or food service is a plus, though not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued.
