This newly created position will be responsible for delivering commercial analysis and insights across the business.
Reporting to the CFO, this role is ideal for a self-starter eager to make a meaningful impact and grow within the company.

The successful candidate will bring strong commercial acumen and financial analysis skills, along with a natural ability to solve problems, challenge assumptions, and ask the right questions Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Leading contract management activities, ensuring contracts meet commercial and financial objectives and comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
Analysing project-specific financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost optimisation and enhanced profitability.
Collaborating with project managers, procurement teams, and department heads, providing financial insights that inform strategic decision-making.
Assisting the CFO in developing KPIs and performance metrics tailored to specific project requirements.
Delivering detailed financial analysis to support business strategy and decision-making, focusing on profitability, cost analysis, and forecasting.
Preparing monthly management accounts, variance analyses, and ad hoc financial reports for senior leadership.
Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning efforts to ensure alignment with company goals.
Partnering with the finance team to manage daily operations as needed, contributing to efficient financial processes.
The Ideal Candidate: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Experience in a commercial or contracts-focused role, ideally within the infrastructure sector would be advantageous Background in procurement, contract management, or commercial analysis, with strong proficiency in financial analysis software and Microsoft Excel, including financial modelling and data analysis skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proactive and detail-oriented, with the capability to work independently in a lean team environment.
Excellent communicator with the ability to effectively liaise with both financial and non-financial stakeholders, presenting complex information clearly and in an actionable format.
