Commercial Account Manager (Insurance) Salary £44,000 - £55,000 + Benefits + Profit Share Bonus Office based at the HX Campus in Newingreen, Kent About We're looking for a Commercial Account Manager to join our Insurance team who can lead, manage and strengthen our key external supplier partnerships.
In this role, you'll manage high-impact relationships with key suppliers to drive growth, deliver strategic initiatives, and support a seamless customer experience.
Your expertise will enable us to optimise partnerships, bridging opportunities and maximising value for both our business and our customers.
A great Commercial Account Manager will highlight areas of opportunity and manage key workstreams, communications and projects, always keeping the partner relationship on the agenda and focussing on ways to constantly improve.
The Insurance team is on a mission to grow the business and the Commercial Account Manager will be key in helping us achieve our goals.
The Role By joining our team you'll: Manage key relationships with external partners.
Your role involves not just maintaining but strengthening key partnerships, focusing on long-term growth, and optimising partner relations.
Oversee actions and performance with our underwriter, highlighting these to key Insurance colleagues to collaborate and deliver necessary actions.  Supporting initiatives with internal and external colleagues including customer enquiries.
Support on our insurance strategy, constantly seeking innovative ways to bridge trading gaps and enhance our competitive position.
Drive our understanding of the wider Insurance landscape through competitor analysis.  Oversee project roadmaps, align priorities, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
This includes signing off on crucial documents and ensuring SLA commitments are met, as well as liaising across teams to align processes and enhance working relationships.
Contribute to a team culture of innovation and continuous improvement by supporting, coaching and mentoring colleagues; particularly by sharing knowledge, skills and experience relating to the ways of working with key partners.  What you can bring to our team:  Excellent communication and relationship skills.
Experience managing high-stakes external partnerships, you excel at dealing with supplier demands and managing both internal and external stakeholder expectations.
A strong understanding of the Insurance industry, with experience in regulatory and compliance requirements.
Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
You're organised and detail oriented, making you effective at managing projects, setting clear priorities and holding yourself and others accountable for deliverables.
A solution focussed approach, you'll look for win/win scenarios to solve problems and strengthen partner relationships.
