Person Specification Experience Essential An experienced doctor with GP accreditation and over 5 years of General Practice Experience.
Current registration with GMC and NHS performers list (with no conditions preventing work or restrictions on practice).
Proven experience in mentoring and educational supervision of GPs.
Experience of conducting GP appraisals.
Record of ongoing CPD and learning, with sound knowledge of clinical governance.
Understanding of the political agenda and drivers influencing primary care provision.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
Excellent organisational and IT skills.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Clear commitment to delivering quality and patient-focused services.
