You will be required to work collaboratively in a safe, caring and respectful way.To find out more about NHS Ayrshire and Arran please visit our website - Position:An opportunity has arisen for a Clerical Officer based at University Hospital Crosshouse on a fixed term/secondment basis for 12 months.What you will do:Duties include processing of referrals and booking out-patient appointments using the TrakCare Patient Management System.
You will be required to work professionally and efficiently within a high volume call handling service, receiving enquiries relating to out-patient appointments from patients and staff.You should be able to work flexibly in order to meet service demands.For further information on the role please click the link below to view the job descriptionKnowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:You should possess SVQ Level 2 in administration or equivalent qualification or experience.For further information on the requirements for the role please click the link below to view the person specificationHours: 37 per week.Core hours:Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 4.45 pm [45min lunch]Friday 8.30am-4.15pm [45min lunch]One week in 6 will involve working a backshift as follows:Monday 8.30am-4.45pm [45min lunch]Tuesday – Thursday 12noon- 8pm [30 min break]Friday 8.30am – 4.15pm [45 min lunch]INFO
