You will be required to work collaboratively in a safe, caring and respectful way.To find out more about NHS Ayrshire and Arran please visit our website - PositionAn opportunity has arisen for a Clerical Officer at University Hospital Ayr on a fixed term basis for 12 months.What you will do:Your duties will include the maintenance and filing of patients confidential records, recording patient related data, admissions and booking out-patient appointments using the computerised Patient Management System.
You will also provide reception services, answering telephones and relaying messages.You should be able to work flexibly in order to meet service demands.You will be required to work flexibly which may include working 5 days over 7.For further information on the role please click the link below to view the job descriptionKnowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:You will have good communication and interpersonal skills.
You should possess SVQ Level 2 in administration or equivalent qualification or experience.
You should also have European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL or equivalent.Hours: 37 per week.
This is a fixed term/secondment opportunity for 12 months.
