We have textile, engineering and electrical workshops and can offer prisoners experience in horticulture, market gardens, cleaning, waste management and laundry services on site.HMP Northumberland have an exciting opportunity for a Cleaner.As a Cleaner you'll deliver a high-quality cleaning service to create a safe and healthy environment.
Your responsibilities will encompass performing thorough and detailed cleaning and housekeeping within designated areas of the prison, following a predetermined cleaning schedule, along with addressing any ad hoc special requests as needed.

You will be responsible for the high standards of cleanliness across the specific areas and for replenishing stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand gels.
You will be responsible for conducting all your activities in a safe manner by always wearing all required PPE, following all relevant Sodexo processes.
You will be responsible for reporting any safety issues, faulty equipment, or other areas of concern to your line manager & department manager.
