Cleaner Job descriptionJob Title:CleanerReporting to:Office ManagerWorking Hours:Full time 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday (Flexibility required to work weekends, bank holidays and additional hours)Salary:Competitive based on knowledge, skills & experienceCompany:Islam Channel Ltd.Location: Head Office – IG2 7BS The RoleVacuum all carpeted areas and sweep all other areas.Spot clean wallsClean and polish windowsDust all areas/surfacesEmpty general waste rubbish bins and replace linerRemove rubbish off premises and dispose of as per local regulationsDamp dust/ wipe desks (if clear of paperwork)Damp dust/wipe printers, photocopier, telephones etcClean both the male and female toilets using products as instructed by theinstructions manual/directions label.
Unblock toilets if necessary.Replace / refill toilets rolls, paper towels and liquid soap dispensersCollect crockery and cutlery from office spaceWash and dry all unclean dishes/cutlery etcEnsure all kitchen appliances are cleanedThe refrigerator is cleaned outMop kitchen floorMaintain a neat and tidy kitchen areaEnsure guest crockery are locked awayEnsure that there is milk on a daily basisInform Office Manager of low stock levels of coffee, tea, toilet roll etcInform Office Manager and buy with authorisation other supplies of cutlery, towels crockery etc.Provide tea and coffee and other refreshments for guestsTo observe and comply with the Health and Safety Policy and Code of Practice for cleaning staff.To comply with instructions relating to security and confidentialityYou will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.Carry out ad-hoc tasks as requiredSkills:Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment.Able to stand for extended periods of time.Excellent organizational skills.Able to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.Available to work mornings and evenings, plus weekends, as needed.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent is advantageous.Proven experience in a similar role.Experience:Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
