Class 1 Driver

Job Title Class 1 Drivers (Day & Night) Location Castle Donington, DE74 Contract Temporary ongoing Shifts Monday to Friday AM & Sunday to Friday PM (no bank holidays or weekends) Driver Resource are actively seeking to recruit a Class 1 Driver for one of our Clients based at Castle Donington.
Our Client is one of the UKs largest distributors of leading branded and own-brand medical consumables to all areas of the healthcare market.
They offer a range of traditional and bespoke supply chain solutions to meet their customers requirements in todays rapidly changing healthcare environment.
Job Duties: Start times for the AM shifts are 04:00 & PMs vary between 18:00 21:00.
AM shifts anything up to 4 drops & PM shifts trunking 1 drop Delivering to commercial customers mainly NHS RCDs & large companies.
The truck will be tipped for you.
PAYE rates for the Driver: Mon to Fri AM £17.00 with holiday accrued this can be included.
Mon to Fri PM £17.50 with holiday accrued this can be included.
The successful Class 1 Driver will be required to have the following: Valid HGV C licence 3 months relevant experience Driver CPC qualification card Digital Tacho card No more than 6 points on licence No DD, DR or IN conviction codes Good communication skills Flexible attitude Ability to learn This Class 1 Driver role is booked monthly, however some ad-hoc shifts may arise due to sickness.
