Job summary Are you a dynamic, results-driven leader with a passion for improving healthcare services?We have an exciting opportunity for a City-Wide Operations Manager to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of primary care across the PCN was launched on September 1st 2023, bringing together our three services across Milton Keynes: Whitehouse, Neath Hill and Brooklands surgeries.As the City-Wide Operations Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality, efficient healthcare services to our diverse communities.
You will manage the operational delivery of primary care services across our sites, ensuring smooth coordination, enhanced patient experiences, and a seamless link between the teams and stakeholders.
Main duties of the job Working with and reporting to the Network Operations Manager for Primary Care, the post holder will lead the Primary Care Service both strategically and the day to day BAU (business as usual).The post holder will be an experienced Practice Manager who understands the complexities of primary care and is able to translate national and regional guidelines into tangible actions and outcomes.
They will be a seasoned leader capable of bringing together the local teams to collaborate more effectively as a unified force across the Milton Keynes area.The City-Wide Operations Manager (CWOM) will play a key role in supporting our General Practices across Milton Keynes, contributing to the success of our regional hub and Primary Care Network (PCN), ensuring their continued growth and success.

Job description Job responsibilities The CWOM will work independently to ensure services provide high-quality care, while supporting the local team by facilitating daily huddles and regular staff meetings.They will submit regular highlight reports to the Network Operations Manager, offering feedback and updates on the performance of their services.The job holder will usea data-driven approach, collaborating with Business Intelligence to gather the necessary information to assess the overall performance of the services.
They will also utilize this data to identify potential gaps and determine the necessary interventions to enhance service delivery.
