They provide specialist care and nursing for babies, children, and young people, ensuring their clinical, emotional, social, and practical needs are met.
With a focus on family-centred care, they offer support in various settings, including at home, in the community, and at their state-of-the-art hospice.
As a Children's Nurse you will: Provide high-quality, effective patient care in various settings, including the hospice, children's homes, and the community.
Plan and review care with families to ensure safety and advocate for the child and their family.
Ensure fun and compassion are integral to the care provided.
Follow safeguarding policies and maintain confidentiality.
Communicate effectively with all relevant parties.
Administer medications and maintain nutritional status.
Keep accurate records and documentation.

The ideal Children's Nurse will have: Registration as a Sick Children's Nurse or Registered Nurse (Child Branch).
Relevant post-qualification experience at Band 5 level.

Experience in palliative care and working with children with complex medical needs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
