Our team at The Chelsea Psychology Clinic (TCPC) is comprised of many experienced psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, and other health professionals.
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced HCPC registered clinical or counselling psychologist to work within our Child and Young Persons Pathway.
Job Title : Child & Adolescent Clinical or Counselling Psychologist   Salary : £55,000 – £75,000 pro rata depending on experience   Hours: Part-time 2-3 days per week Annual leave: 27- 32 days + bank holidays (prorated) Benefits: Health insurance, Pension, Supervision and CPD opportunities   Contract: Permanent (subject to probationary period)   Accountable to: Directors of Clinical Services and Head of Child Pathway CRB Check : Enhanced Level of Disclosure   Location: Central London   *LinkedIn applicants will not be accepted - email your CV and expression of interest to ******* Purpose of the job:    The post-holder will provide a specialist psychology service to clients of The Chelsea Psychology Clinic (TCPC).
They will offer assessment, formulation and evidence-based intervention for children and young people (CYP) from diverse backgrounds presenting with a range of difficulties as typically seen in primary care settings.
The post holder will be required to utilise specialist therapy skills to deliver individual interventions, adapted flexibly and creatively for CYP with mental health needs.
The role may also involve liaising with the young person's multi-disciplinary team within and external to the clinic.
We are looking for a psychologist experienced in working with children and young people over the age of 5, in CAMHS or private mental health settings.
In particular, we are interested in candidates with experience of working with complex presentations and neurodevelopmental conditions.
The post-holder will be expected to see a set number of clients per week at suitable clinic times.
Considering this client population, it is likely that the post-holder will be required to work late afternoon/evenings and/or Saturdays so please note your availability in your application.
We offer monthly supervision, peer groups, team meetings and quarterly events so you feel connected to a team and have various opportunities for professional development.
We also have a dedicated Assistant Psychologist and billing team that will assist with your caseload and communication with clients.
