Chief Revenue Officer - It Consulting For Public Sector

Morgan Philips Executive Search has been retained by the UK arm of a fast growing Global IT Services business who seek to accelerate their rapid growth under a new Managing Director.
The firm has a significant footprint in the Public Sector, providing IT consulting, project/change management and deep technical expertise across 8 different sectors via government frameworks.
As part of an overhaul of their internal sales structure and approach, the firm has created a new role of Chief Revenue Officer to build, own and implement the strategy for further growth within the Public Sector.
The position, reporting directly to the UK MD, would suit someone with a strong background in new business development, sales and account growth for IT Consulting and Services who has a deep knowledge of the intricacies of selling into the public sector and a significant network across at least 3 of the industry domains (EG NHS, HMRC, Transport etc).
You will be a strategic thinker, ambitious and highly motivated individual who is comfortable communicating at C-Suite level and building and actioning appropriate business plans.
You will have significant experience managing and growing sales teams and revenues.
