IN YOUR NEW ROLE You will develop and execute the company's vision, mission, and long-term strategy in collaboration with the Board of Directors.
You will foster a positive and inclusive organisational culture that aligns with our values and promotes employee engagement, development, and retention.
You will work closely with the executive management team to drive growth, profitability, and sustainability.
You will inspire and lead a diverse team while making informed, effective decisions under pressure.
You will communicate a clear vision for the company's future aspirations, implementing innovative and ethical strategies to achieve them.
THE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU WILL HAVE You will have a proven track record of working in a senior leadership role in an omni-channel managing £350m+ turnover, preferably within the electrical retailing sector or a related field.
You will have been in a similar role where you can demonstrate that you have exceptional business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
You will be able to demonstrate that you possess sound commercial awareness as well as understand the impact of decisions made including the impact of those decisions within the business whilst maintaining integrity and compliance at all times especially in high-pressure situations.
You will have a solid background of managing and developing direct reports, with great interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues at all levels of the business.
You will be able to demonstrate that you have a collaborative approach with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, suppliers, members and directors.
Some travel will be expected.
