You will be reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Manager and have line management responsibility for all kitchen staff.
You will be responsible for all catering elements within the hotel, from breakfast through to banqueting and events.
You will pay particular attention to due diligence and food safety processes whilst leading by experience, ensuring that you are visible and working alongside your staff during peak service times.
The ideal candidate will already be an experienced Head Chef or Kitchen Manager with extensive experience in a commercial or hotel environment but essentially with large scale catering experience.
You will understand the importance of ensuring food safety and catering processes are adhered to and have experience of managing a full brigade in a busy commercial environment whilst balancing costs.
You will be flexible, reliable, enthusiastic with a passion for hospitality and be able to work in a team and also independently, you must have an acute financial acumen.
Our hotels and conference centres are busy establishments, therefore this is very much a hands on role.
