Main duties of the job As a Bank Chef at Barchester Healthcare, you will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavorsome, and well-balanced menus for the residents.
You will work with fresh, seasonal ingredients to deliver high-quality and wholesome dishes cooked to the highest standards.
In the Head Chef's absence, you will help manage the kitchen and work within budget.
You will also be responsible for stock control, completing regular audits, and leading and motivating the team.

You should also have a personable and warm approach, a genuine interest in the wellbeing of residents, and the ability to create a warm and welcoming environment within the home.
Good understanding of HACCP is also required.
