Your new company Hays are working in partnership with an established company in Northern Ireland, seeking to employ a Chartered Structural Engineer.
The company emerged from the collective vision of directors with extensive experience in various consultancies.

Your new role Due to increased workload, our client are seeking an energetic and motivated Chartered Structural Engineer to join their team in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The role will involve managing projects from inception through to completion.
You will undertake concept work, sketching and preparing drawings, be responsible for design calculations for steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber.
You will be working within a project team and liaise with drawing/Revit technicians.
It is important that you attend project and site meetings and undertake site inspections.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful for the Chartered Structural Engineering role, our client is looking for candidates with: Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.
Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards chartered status.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
Proficient in structural design software (e.g., Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, Robot, Masterseries Retaining Wall Suite, etc.).
Strong knowledge of relevant design codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, British Standards).
Excellent project management and leadership skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
