Our client is an independent hospital which provides acute and psychiatric intensive care services to those in need.
They are dedicated to providing innovative, quality care, which will enable patients' recovery and re-engagement with the community.
Their wards offer assessment and treatment to females with a broad range of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia and personality disorders.
The hospital comprises of 2 wards: with a total of 19 inpatient beds.- a female psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU)- an acute ward for females A new ward is due to open later this year is a 9 Bed Acute ward - you will support the team and patients in the successful opening of this ward.
This role of the  Deputy Ward Manager / Charge Nurse is to provide senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team in support of the Ward Manager.
Salary is £43,134.00 - £46,433.92 £5000 Welcome Bonus You will have clinical expertise and leadership that provides expertise and confidence to the nursing team and ward overall.
You will have defined delegated responsibilities from the Ward Manager; having protected time for support of management duties and have supervisory responsibilities for an agreed group of staff.
