Are you ready to drive growth in one of the UKs largest FMCG food businesses?
This is your opportunity to step into a pivotal role as a Category Manager , working closely with major online grocery retailers.
About the Role: Working closely with online grocery retailers, you will be responsible for developing and executing data-driven category growth strategies across a diverse portfolio of beloved food brands.
You will leverage shopper insights, market trends, and retailer collaboration to ensure products are optimally positioned, driving category growth and reinforcing the companys status as a category leader.
Key Responsibilities: Retailer Partnership : Build and maintain strategic relationships with online grocery retailers, ensuring the business is the go-to partner for category development.
Data-Driven Insights : Utilise shopper, retailer, and market data to inform product ranging, merchandising, and promotional strategies that deliver tangible growth.
Category Leadership : Lead the development and implementation of category growth plans that inspire retailers, unlocking new opportunities in the online grocery space.
Merchandising & Navigation : Work closely with retailers to optimise online visibility, ensuring products are front and center, and driving both traffic and conversion.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with internal teams across marketing, sales, and innovation to ensure alignment with our business goals and category strategies.
What Were Looking For: Proven experience in Category Management within FMCG, ideally with a focus on the online grocery channel.
Strong commercial acumen and a track record of developing data-led category strategies that drive growth.
Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
Experience working with insights tools such as Nielsen, Kantar, and internal shopper data to develop actionable insights.
A proactive and collaborative mindset , with the agility to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-evolving market.
