Caretaker Fenton Industrial Estate, Stoke-on-Trent - covering Staffordshire and Cheshire £23,835 - £25,090 per year 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 16:00pm We have an opportunity for a Caretaker to join our Estate Services team, based in Stoke-on-Trent.
As a Caretaker you will be responsible for carrying out an excellent caretaking service which will involve grounds maintenance, cleaning, collecting fly tipping, gutter cleaning, void clean and clears, fencing and paving repairs and Landscaping.
The role will involve working in a team of 2 or 3, however you will join a wider team of Caretakers when required.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of delivering high quality services, demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and high levels of customer service.
The role of Caretaker will include: Undertaking general caretaking duties including cleaning communal areas such as stairs, doors and windows and removing bulk waste Grounds maintenance tasks to include litter picking and general upkeep Working with customers to resolve issues and improve services Completing all documents and paperwork concerning tasks completed Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in a suitable condition Skills and experiences: Experience in a similar role or completing similar tasks British institute certificate in cleaning services (BICS) would be advantageous Practical experience in operating hand tools and light machinery Some experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation Good communication and customer care skills This role will involve driving on company business.
