Main duties of the job What you'll be responsible for: Monitoring patients' conditionsby taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, and weight.
Assisting in the delivery ofpatient care as directed by the Registered Nurse Ensuring that the patient is theprime focus when making decisions about their care and wellbeing.
Assisting patients withcompassion when undertaking normal activities of daily living whilst ensuring that privacy, dignity,and human rights are respected.The role will involve, but not belimited to you performing the above.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential All Care support worker roles will be required to provide evidence of completing the Care Certificate or a relevant qualification.
Evidence accepted includes: Student Nurse with at least 12 weeks clinical placements.
Care Certificate from an NHS Organisation QCF Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services issued after 2011 QCF Level 2 OR above Diploma in Health & Social Care or Clinical Healthcare Support issued after 2011 QCF Level 3 OR above Diploma in Healthcare Support or Maternity & Paediatric Support issued after 2011 (For Paediatric & Maternity roles only) Degree /Diploma in Nursing and currently do not have an NMC Registration.
Experience Essential Minimum of 6 months Acute HCSW UK (Private, NHS or Armed Forces) hospital/hospice experience within the last 2 years
