Job DescriptionAs a Home Care Companion, you will be required to go into client's homes supporting them with their daily needs to enable them to stay at home.
This can include companionship, meal preparation, support with medication, daily hygiene, feeding pets and assisting with trips and social outings.
As Care Assistants we receive: Competitive rates of pay of up to £14.25 per hour.Enhanced pay rate for NVQ Level 3 holders.Paid Wait times up to 1 hour.Paid travel time.Mileage paid at 35p per mile.Health Cash Plan and an Employee Assistant Programme.Full training provided and paid for throughout employment.Personalised support for you.Pension Scheme.Shopping perks and other employee benefits.Paid introductions to your clients before delivering care.Care qualification progression.various shift patterns are available to suit your lifestyle as well as your clients.We are currently looking for candidates who can offer good availability including a mixture of mornings and evenings.Every other weekend availability is a requirement QualificationsAll we really ask is that you are compassionate, honest, willing to learn and can adapt to the needs of your client.
Afterall, it is their quality of life that we want to enhance and bring joy to.Experience in supporting an older person in a personal or professional capacity is preferred but not essential.You will be reliable, trustworthy, compassionate, and respectful.
Good literacy and numeracy skills, written and spoken.Available to work every other weekend is required.Full Driving Licence and access to transport.
