As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalized care and support in their homes.Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and medication remindersProvide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversations and activitiesPrepare nutritious meals and help with light housekeeping tasksAccompany clients to appointments and social outings as neededMonitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health to the care teamMaintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents or concernsCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clientsAdapt to clients' individual needs and preferences, promoting their independence and dignityRespond promptly and professionally to emergencies or unexpected situationsParticipate in ongoing training and development to enhance care skills and knowledgeQualificationsCompassionate nature with a genuine desire to help othersGood communication and interpersonal skillsPatience, understanding, and ability to work with diverse personalities and needsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative care teamFull UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicleFlexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as required.Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to care standardsAbility to adapt to changing situations and remain calm under pressureFull training is given regardless of experience.
Additional InformationWe pay between £13.00 to £28.00 a hour.Paid Travel and Waiting time between client visits Paid mileage, with payments matched to current fuel prices.Paid on-boarding training and ongoing training including CPR and Dementia training.
