Job description We are looking to recruit a new team of Home Care Assistants in North Northumberland.
No experience necessary as full training is given.
We have full time and part time opportunities for people to join our Healthcare Assistant teams in both the Berwick & Alnwick areas , however we cover all of North Northumberland so there may be opportunities nearer to you to provide care at home, as an alternative to residential care homes.
We offer our Care Assistants: £13.00 per hour £12.50 per hour for travel time Paid Fuel - 35p per mile Weekly COVID tests & access to the vaccine Flexible hours Paid annual leave Workplace pension scheme £400 referral scheme for introducing new carers (T&C's apply) Fully paid induction in line with the Care Certificate Uniform provided Access to Health & Social Care qualifications Career progression Supportive and friendly working environment Shadowing programme with experienced Carers to ensure you are comfortable with your role and responsibilities We require you to be: A car owner/ driver Have a reliable record of attendance with previous employer Have a mature outlook on life We care for the elderly and vulnerable in the comfort of their own homes as an alternative to a residential care home.
Your role as a healthcare assistant will be to support our customers with all aspects of their daily lives including personal care, companionship, medication prompting, food and drink preparation, shopping and accessing the local community.
