Main duties of the job We are excited to announce that Cardiology Ward has an exciting opportunity to join a specialist unit and help advance your own personal progression.
Cardiology Ward / ACCU is a 41 bedded unit made up of 6 ACCU beds, 6 HDU beds, 13 side rooms, and 3 bays.
We care for all aspects of cardiac medicine including Intervention, Electrophysiology, Structural, and Adult Congenital.

Person SpecificationQuals Registered Nurse (Part 1, 8, 12, or 15 of the register depending on area of practice) or National certification in area of Practice.
Evidence of ongoing professional development.
Previous band 6 experience.
Proof of education at level 7.
Clinical Practice Articulate and knowledgeable of skills needed to deliver high standard of care.
Demonstrates awareness of importance of teamwork.
Leadership & Management Acts as a role model and able to lead by example.
Able to supervise non-registered and less experienced staff.
Experience coordinating ward.
