Job summary A vacancy has arisen for a Band 2 Cardiac Clinical Support Worker - ECG within Cardiothoracic Services at C&VUHB.There is a strong emphasis on both professional and service development withinthe Cardiothoracic Directorate,with opportunities to gainskills and qualifications in ournon-invasive services.The successful applicant will be expected to work across both University Hospital of Wales and University Hospital Llandough sites.
Main duties of the job Assist in delivering high quality ECG and Spirometry services.Undertake routine admin tasks and reception duties as required and use a number of clinical and non-clinical IT systems to enter patient information, and for report generation.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Three GCSE's Grades A-D Desirable Certificate in Electrocardiography Experience Essential Experience of working / dealing with the general public Desirable Experience of working in the NHS or healthcare environment.
Knowledge of PMS, D&T operating systems Skills Essential Excellent communication skills for dealing with a wide variety of people from all social backgrounds.
