You'll be a vital member of the development team, focusing on building and enhancing critical low-latency components.
This position offers the opportunity to engage with various aspects of electronic and algorithmic trading, including but not limited to: exchange price feeds, core trading systems, backtesting engines, trading engines, tick data management, exchange simulators, and trading gateways You'll collaborate closely with a diverse group of investment management professionals, such as quantitative analysts/developers, traders, and operations staff, to design and implement state-of-the-art systems that keep our client at the industry's forefront.
About you: Proven experience in low-latency Linux development using C++/C and STL Demonstrated ability to design and implement multithreaded and distributed systems Proficiency with Linux/GCC development toolchain, with Red Hat experience being essential Familiarity with mature continuous development processes is highly valued Knowledge of market data feed handlers and execution gateways is beneficial Ideally, 3+ years of experience in a front-office trading desk-aligned role Basic proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash is advantageous Strong teamwork skills are essential This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our client's innovative approach in the quantitative investment management field.
