Role C# Back-End Azure Cloud Developer Location Remote with a preference to Southwest based candidates Salary up to £75k doe Key Responsibilities: Simplify development processes by applying sound software engineering principles.
Collaborate with the architecture team to refine technical designs that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
Engage in backlog refinement sessions to translate business challenges into actionable agile stories and tasks.
Maintain and enhance the C# codebase following clean coding principles to ensure functionality, maintainability, and robustness.
Work closely with business analysts and testers to identify success and failure paths, defining comprehensive test cases.
Develop effective automated tests to enhance quality assurance while minimizing manual testing efforts.
Integrate cloud services with mobile apps and edge devices, conducting thorough functional checks.
Produce clear, concise documentation to elucidate complex areas of code.
Qualifications: Proven experience in developing microservices in Azure using C#.
Advanced skills in .NET Core and C# (including advanced techniques such as expressions).
Strong understanding of clean coding principles and test automation (unit, component, integration, end-to-end).
Familiarity with iterative agile development and backlog refinement.
Intermediate knowledge of Angular, Azure PaaS, IoT, and message-oriented architectures.
Basic understanding of cybersecurity (with opportunities for growth).

Proactive in driving projects to completion and taking ownership of responsibilities.
