What you will be involved with as a Buyer: Become the cornerstone of our procurement strategy, purchasing packaging materials, consumables, and other critical supplies Develop and implement streamlined procurement processes and policies Manage and maintain our ERP system with precision and attention to detail Build and nurture strategic supplier relationships through professional communication Regularly review, evaluate, and tender supplier agreements to maximise profitability Conduct market analysis and reporting to enhance company profitability and competitive positioning What we are looking for in a Buyer: Qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is preferrable A minimum of 2+ years' experience in purchasing/buying is essential Strong interest in starting or progressing CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualification Exceptional communication skills and a naturally commercial mindset Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP experience preferred) What's on offer: Opportunity to shape a newly created procurement function as the first dedicated Buyer in the business Support for professional development and qualifications Clear pathway for career growth within an expanding business Please note this role is fully office based in Bradford, and due to the location it is preferable that you are a car driver.
