We have full time, permanent vacancies available with immediate start dates.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 6am start until finish.
Approx.
45 hours per week.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure that all products are boned out/trimmed to meet customer/company specifications whilst also maximising yield and minimising waste.
Breakdown beef cuts to customer/company specification.
Learn and understand all cuts of the beef carcass.
Carry out all tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures, particularly regarding health and safety and food safety.
Drive and deliver necessary processing efficiency through consistent and correct equipment operation.
Ensure strict adherence to quality, HSE, animal welfare, food safety, hygiene, ethical, product labelling and handling processes.
Follow traceability process and ensure product and labelling integrity at all times.
To ensure that you work to the best of your ability to meet production deadlines. To work as part of a team and take responsibility for your work To report to the Boning Hall supervisor any problems with equipment or machinery Any other reasonable duties may be assigned as deemed necessary Knowledge and Experience: Previous butchery experience in a food production environment is essential.
Ability to demonstrate knife skills for the skilled roles, or willingness to learn in semi-skilled/ trainee roles.
Skills: Ability to work on own initiative whilst working as part of a team, striving to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
