Job overview Band 3 Business Support OfficerAn opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Officer to join the team in the Pharmacy Business Development Unit (BDU).
The role will support the operational, performance and business functions of the Pharmacy Technical Services Aseptic Services Unit.
Main duties of the job The role includes general administration, stock management, data collection and reporting, in addition to using IT based systems to cost products and raise invoices.

Some flexible working will be required, as the successful candidate will be expected to provide comprehensive and high quality daily admin and stock management support to the production team and facilitate the smooth running of the Business Development Unit.

Although this position is a 6 months fixed-term contract, the actual contract duration will be adjusted to account for the time taken to advertise the post, complete the hiring process, and finalise pre-employment checks.
This means the contract will begin when the candidate starts the role and may be slightly shorter than 6 months.
