My client is a leading manufacturer of laboratory capital equipment including air flow safety cabinets.
Due to growth they now require an external New Business Hunter to lead the sale of capital equipment into the "golden triangle" of London, Cambridge and Oxford.
The idea candidate will be a personality based seller with a hunter mentality who has experience selling capital equipment into NHS, University Research environments, Pharma Manufacturers and Biotech sectors.
Product training can be given so it is envisaged finding to a candidate with the right mind set, who is eager to learn, is most important rather than exact product fit however experience selling into some of the target markets is required.
At the higher salary bracket it is envisaged the person can manage a small team.
The Role - Field based visits 4 days per week including users and distributors.
Typically NHS, Universitys, Pharma and Biotech.
- Developing sales proposals and completing tender application - Following up on quotes and ensuring the customers have everything they require - Maintaining CRM records inline with company policy The Ideal Candidate - Either Degree qualified in a science degree or Qualified by Experience - Experience selling capital into the required markets and willing to learn - Experience of clean air solutions is an advantage - Has confidence in engaging with engineering and scientific professionals - Happy working autonomously.
