The person we're looking for will have a background in either working directly in the hotel sector, or come from a role where negotiating deals and rates with hotels is part of their daily role.
We're looking an in depth understanding of industry terminology, calculating room rates and occupancy levels, combined with a genuine passion for finding new openings, hidden gems and knowing the best places to stay ahead of the crowd.

What you'll be doing Our City (Sales) Team is at the forefront of delivering growth for itison, responsible for driving double-digit growth every year through sourcing and negotiating incredible experiences in our local areas.
As Business Development Manager, you'll be tracking down the very best hotel offerings and getaways across Scotland, and converting these businesses to work with itison.The role will be based in our Glasgow HQ with periods of travel for meetings and outreach, so would suit someone who is flexible, can drive (and has their own car), and enjoys periods of working in the field.

Hunting out amazing new hotels and getaway experiences our members will love, every day Spotting and converting new business opportunities, pitching to and negotiating with business owners/seniors face-to-face and over the phone Growing and developing your pipeline by building amazing relationships with key people, whilst coming up with smart strategies to grow your existing accounts.
