Due to their excellent reputation as a high-quality contractor, the business is growing & they have recently opened a second base.
To continue to grow sales they are now looking for a motivated Sales & Marketing Executive to join the team.
The role will be a mix of sales and marketing responsibilities.
Heres a taster of what you will be doing: Business Development: Identify new construction projects using paid-for database of live main contractor projects.
Identify the correct procurement contacts and ensure the company is included in the procurement process for each project.
Approach customers using a variety of contact methods: email, telephone calls and site visits; keeping an accurate and up-to-date record of contacts made.
Follow up leads and build relationships with key customers to ensure repeat business is gained.
Identify lapsed customers and approach those to refresh the relationship and secure new opportunities.
Marketing duties: Keep the web site up to date with new projects completed, news items and similar.
Liaise with the outsourced marketing freelancer to ensure all SEO opportunities are maximised.
Maintain and update our social media: Facebook and LinkedIn with relevant content.
Promote the companys presence to current/potential new customers via personal meetings.
Maintain and update company product sheets and brochures online and in hard copy format.
What you will need to bring: Experience in a sales environment.
Good organisational skills and tenacity.
Strong communication skills and ability to influence and all levels.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite tools particularly Word and Excel.
Construction experience and/or working with Main Contractors would be a bonus but is not essential.
Strong social media skills and have used LinkedIn in a sales capacity.
