This key leadership role involves identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and driving product innovation.

Key Responsibilities: Identify new business opportunities and potential clients within the tiles and slabs industry with a focus on expanding market share in the UAE region.
Develop an in-depth understanding of customer needs and industry trends to create tailored solutions.
Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring that their requirements are understood and met.
Work closely with internal teams to develop and customize product offerings that align with client specifications.
Develop and implement effective strategies for positioning tiles and slabs products in the market.
Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure that products are marketed in line with customer preferences and market trends.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential suppliers of tiles and slabs products.
Lead negotiations with suppliers to ensure favorable terms, competitive pricing, and consistent product quality.
Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Adapt and refine product specifications to align with evolving demands in the market.
Stay up to date with industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements related to tiles and slabs.
Ensure that all products meet the required regulatory criteria and industry best practices.
Lead and motivate a sales team to achieve business development and sales targets.
Set performance goals, track progress, and provide coaching to ensure optimal sales performance.
Regularly report on business development performance, market insights, and sales forecasts to senior management.
Provide recommendations for business improvements and strategic initiatives.
Requirements 15-20 years of experience in business development within the building materials industry, with a proven track record of success.
Prior experience in the UAE market is highly preferred.
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required.
An MBA or equivalent qualification will be a plus.
Deep understanding of the building material sector, including key market trends, customer preferences, competitor landscape, and supplier dynamics.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks specific to the UAE market is essential.
Proven ability to lead sales teams, set ambitious sales goals, and negotiate high-value contracts.
Demonstrated success in securing strategic partnerships and driving business growth.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive cross-functional teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
