Building Services Engineer (Mechanical)Our OpportunityAre you a Building Services Mechanical Engineer looking to work on a variety of projects within an award-winning multi-disciplinary construction and property consultancy?Do you want to join a supportive and collaborative practice?Do you have a passion for sustainable design, looking to make a real impact within the built environment?Pick Everards thriving Building Services team in Bristol are expanding and looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer, who will have the opportunity to work on exciting new ventures.There will be a wide, varied workload and the role will focus on delivering portfolios of work across the private and public sector; including education, defence, healthcare, custodial and commercial.

You will manage contracts, prepare designs and reports, liaise directly with Clients and Contractors and carry out building analysis and provide system design calculations.
Find out what it is like to work at Pick Everard here: Life at PickEverard - Pick EverardAbout YouThis role will suit a Building Services Engineer (Mechanical) who has strong experience working on a variety of projects within the built environment.Our ideal Building Services Engineer (Mechanical) must have:  HND/Degree or equivalent professional qualification with knowledge of construction industry design processes and procurement arrangements Design experience with consultant or contractor Knowledge of engineering principles and current legislation e.g., Building Regulations Excellent communication skills, collaborative and self - motivatedIt would be nice for you to have: Awareness of mechanical services principles Knowledge of H&S / CDM requirements  Heating-, cooling- and ventilation system design experience, domestic water services design experience Mechanical design software experience Knowledge of specification writing / NBS EngineeringAbout UsOur nationwide multidisciplinary team of 650+ work collaboratively to deliver outstanding places and spaces that create lasting value for local communities.
