As part of the Marketing Operations team this person will work with the marketing team to ensure our marketing spend and budget are accurate and will manage the contracting and procurement process.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial processes, business to business marketing, and must be able to work collaboratively with our marketing, finance and legal teams.
We're looking for someone who must have: Been responsible for the ongoing management of the marketing budget, ensuring accurate spend tracking across all marketing channels.
Managed the procurement process end to end, from raising requests through Statement of Work and Contract Reviews, to liaising with legal to review Terms and Conditions.
Experience in Processing and tracking marketing-related expenses, including verifying the accuracy of supplier invoices and card payments, ensuring compliance with financial controls and company procedures.
Prepared budget reports, summarising marketing spend, identifying variances, and completing the end of month reconciliations in collaboration with the Finance team.
Worked closely with the marketing, legal and finance teams to ensure budget and spend accuracy and compliance Contributed to the improvement of budgeting processes and tools to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of budget tracking.
Previous experience in a financial or budget-focused role, preferably within a marketing environment.
Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
Familiarity working with basic budgeting & workflow management tools Good communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Analytical mindset, with the ability to identify key insights from financial data.
It would be nice if you have Experience working with business to business marketing teams
