Senior Children, Youth, and Community Worker Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week, including evenings and occasional weekends) Salary: £27,000 - £28,860 per annum Leave: 4 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays Exciting job opportunity at Play Place based in Bromley!

Since 2006, we've been dedicated to delivering transformative community services across Bromley, Croydon, and Kent.
We focus on supporting vulnerable and marginalised communities through youth clubs, family, community events, and school holiday programmes.
Play Place manage three Clarion owned Community Spaces located across Bromley.
We're excited to offer a number new roles across these locations, each post provides a chance to make a real difference in our local communities.
Role Overview We're looking for a dynamic Senior Children, Youth, and Community Worker to lead youth services in Bromley.
This hands-on role involves managing youth staff, building partnerships, and creating inspiring programmes for children, young people, and families.
Key Responsibilities Programme Development: Plan and deliver engaging activities, ensuring they are inclusive and youth-led.
Team Management: Supervise youth workers and volunteers, fostering professional growth.
Networking: Build partnerships with schools, local authorities, and community organisations.
Strategic Planning: Analyse services, develop strategies, and prepare project plans.
Monitoring and Marketing: Evaluate impact and promote activities within the community.
About You You're passionate about improving the lives of young people, with experience in programme management, safeguarding, and stakeholder engagement.
You'll need flexibility, creativity, and the ability to inspire young people and your team.
Person Specification  Essential Skills and Experience**   ·      Proven experience in programme or project management.
·      Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership management skills.
·      Knowledge of Bromley's community and youth work networks.
·      Experience facilitating workshops and delivering youth-focused programmes.
·      Expertise in safeguarding and welfare practices.
·      Ability to analyse data, prepare reports, and evaluate outcomes .
Desirable Skills and Experience   ·      Experience championing youth participation and service-user involvement.
·      Previous work with voluntary community organisations.
·      Experience managing contractual partnerships.
Qualifications  ·      Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
Personal Attributes  ·      Passionate about improving the lives of young people.
·      Flexible and willing to work evenings and occasional weekends.
·      Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
·      Self-motivated and a strong team player.
Discreet, with the ability to handle sensitive information.
