Job Description
The Brand Strategist at ASOS is pivotal in shaping and advancing our brand globally. As part of the central Brand & Planning team, you will play a key role in taking our current ASOS MasterBrand Strategy and developing supporting strategies across our business pillars and ensuring that they translate from idea to customer facing output. We believe in creating uniquely ASOS moments that blend curated fashion content with inspiration and creativity, and in this role, you'll be instrumental in positioning these moments that elevate our brand relevance.
The Details
Delivering Brand Strategies: Working with internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and delivering brand strategies that solve these and can connect with our customer base. These will need to be showcased throughout the business to bring people onboard as well.
Supporting Creative Delivery of the Strategies: Ensuring that all of the creative and content teams are fully onboarded to strategies so that all of our content supports who we are trying to be as a brand.
Brand-Led Customer Moments: Help to identify opportunities and partnerships to enhance the ASOS Brand.
Forward Planning: Collaborate with the Senior Comms Planner to develop a comprehensive Marketing Calendar that aligns with ASOS messaging pillars, ensuring consistency and distinctiveness in our brand communications.
Competitor, Market and Brand Tracking: Work with the Customer Marketing team to ensure that we set the right brand targets and we are measuring them correctly. As well as, staying abreast of industry trends, research and competitor activations to keep ASOS ahead of the curve in brand innovation and engagement.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Foster strong relationships with internal and external senior stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of brand initiatives and campaigns including agencies.

Qualifications
About You
Experience in Brand Strategy, ideally with a fashion/retail/adjacent brand lens.
Proven track record of thriving in a complex, cross-functional marketing environment, with demonstrated leadership and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to successfully implement brand strategies and initiatives, with a focus on driving measurable business impact.
A blend of creative and analytical thinking skills, with a proven ability to identify brand opportunities and measure their impact effectively.
Interest and experience working in fashion and youth culture preferred, with a deep understanding of industry trends and consumer insights.
