Job summary We have an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Female Brain Injury Support Worker to join our team in Redditch, Worcestershire.
Our client is in her early twenties and has significant loss of her peripheral vision, executive function difficulties as well as anxiety and low moods.
She does also have Cerebral Palsy.
Main duties of the job The successful applicant must have a UK driver's license and have access to a vehicle as well as experience with Brain Injury and Cerebral Palsy.
Key responsibilities include engaging with personalised routines inclusive of hoists, completing daily living activities, administering medication, providing emotional support, and maintaining accurate records.
The role requires previous experience in a similar complex care role, the ability to deal with challenging behaviours, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.

Our client is in her early twenties and has significant loss of her peripheral vision, executive function difficulties as well as anxiety and low moods.
She does also have Cerebral Palsy.
Due to the clients needs the successful applicant must have a UK driver's license and have access to a vehicle as well as experience with Brain Injury and Cerebral Palsy.
Pay Rate: £15-16 per hour Working Hours: 3 x 6 hour shifts per week (Weekdays & Saturday) Key Responsibilities: Engaging with personalised routines inclusive of hoists.
Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
Providing emotional support and companionship.
Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
To be able to deal with challenging behaviours.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work the specified hours.

Regular supervisions and Check Ins Both online and In-person training Training & Background Checks: An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
