Job summary An opportunity has arisen to join the Libertatem Healthcare Group team as a Brain Injury Support Worker in Birmingham.
The role involves assisting a client with memory impairment, perception delays, mobility, and vision challenges, including helping with their physiotherapy program and medication management.
The successful candidate will work a flexible schedule, providing emotional support and comprehensive care to the client.
Main duties of the job The Brain Injury Support Worker role involves engaging with the client's personalized routines, assisting with their physiotherapy program, medication management, providing emotional support and companionship, aiding with monitoring food intake, and maintaining accurate records of the care provided.
The candidate will also collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care for the client.

Job description Job responsibilities An opportunity has arisen to join our team for a client based in Birmingham.
Our client needs assistance with memory impairment as well as perception delays.
He also requires assistance with mobility and vision.
Your role will be aiding with his physiotherapy programme and helping manage their medication.
For this role you must be able to drive as well as have access to your own vehicle.
Working Hours: Tuesday 10am-6pm, Thursday 10am-6pm Friday 12-6pm Saturday 11am-5pm Key Responsibilities: Engaging with personalised routines.
Assisting with physiotherapy programme.
Assisting with medication management.
Providing emotional support and companionship.
Aiding with monitoring food intake.
Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work the specified hours.

Regular supervisions and Check Ins Both online and In-person training Training & Background Checks: An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
