Bid Manager I am working with a dynamic UK law firm providing a comprehensive legal service to clients across a wide range of legal expertise and sectors across the UK.
With 27 offices across the globe, they have been named one of the UK's leading employers for improving social mobility, and hold a Gold Standard Investors in People status.
Location Hybrid role which can be based out of either their Manchester or Bristol offices.
Duties • Manage the end-to-end bid cycle from opportunity identification, through bid production, to submission.
• Develop a deep knowledge and understanding of public sector offering including clients, service lines and specific initiatives.
• Scope out bid requirements, manage the bid "no bid" process, identify key stakeholders and map out how to achieve maximum marks against the evaluation criteria • Attend and lead kick off meetings, prepare a bid plan, delivery programme and implement a structured, end-to-end project management initiative.
• Prepare and coach bid teams for client presentations including messaging and rehearsals.
• Work with lead partners and subject matter experts to develop a winning strategies.
• Write compelling bid content, articulating win themes in line with guidelines and updating bid/pitch libraries when required • Work with the firm's Commercial Business Partners to inform and develop pricing strategy.
• Produce tender analysis informing management information and reporting.
• Manage the continuous development of systems Skills and experience • Experience of writing and understanding bid and proposal documentation within legal, professional services, or financial services • APMP qualification or similar would be advantageous • Held relationships at all stakeholder levels across a multi-disciplinary organisation • Good verbal and written skills, confident communicating with senior management Benefits • Hybrid working – 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home • Working flexible hours - flexing the times you start and finish during the day • Flexible benefits scheme including 25 days holiday and private medical insurance.
