We are seeking an enthusiasticBand 7 Physiotherapist to join our welcoming team here at RAF Halton, Buckinghamshire.The vacant post is full time working hours per week.

They are to lead in the development of rehabilitationservice delivery within the PrimaryCare Rehabilitation Facility (PCRF) and advise on physiotherapy within the PCRF.To act as a source of advanced clinicalexpertise in the management of musculoskeletal dysfunction and provide anadvisory service to patients, other senior physiotherapists, Health CareProfessionals and General Practitioners (GPs) within the practice and region.

Job description Job responsibilities Duties and responsibilities for the role include but arenot limited to:The post holder should be an autonomous practitionerand an expert clinician in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and managementof patients with musculoskeletal injury who arereferred by GPs.They are to develop and maintain skillsrequired to work at a Clinical Specialist level within physiotherapy asacknowledged by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.They are to be aware of the boundariesof their own practice and are to manage the associated clinical riskeffectively at all times.They are to be responsible for themanagement of training needs which arise from such role development.Please refer to the attachedJob Description and Person Specification for the full list of duties.Selection ProcessThe Ministry ofDefence is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment forits staff which includes educating them on the benefits of not smoking,protecting them from the harmful effects of second-hand smoke and supportingthose who want to give up smoking.

Experience Essential Proven experience in the assessment and treatment of musculo-skeletal, sports injuries and orthopaedic conditions.
Proven experience in the application of mobilisation and manipulation techniques.
