Residential Child Support Workers required to work in a Childrens Residential Home, through the South Eastern Trust in the Downpatrick/Lisburn area.
As a result of additional funding, we are currently recruiting for 2 Band 5 Support Workers to start in January 2025 for at least 3 months to support service users who have complex needs, including learning disabilities.
As the post holder, you will be responsible for devising and coordinating and reviewing person centred care plans and risk assessment needs, undertaking direct care of service users which will involve ensuring that their social, emotional, health and educational needs are met as fully as possible working within a Positive Behaviour Support framework.
This position is to commence in January 2025 and the Pay rate is £14.53 - £23.24, depending on the shift you have worked with overtime, sleepover rate & weekly mileage payment available.
In keeping with the needs of the service users, suitable applicants will be required to work appropriate shift patterns on a 24 hr - 7 days per week basis Hours of work - we can offer Full time or Part time hours depending on your availability.
Candidates must be flexible to cover weekends when required.
